Job description

Lakeside Software is a global leader in Digital Employee Experience and workspace analytics. Our SysTrack platform helps organizations understand, optimize, and continuously improve the technologies employees use to get work done. We partner closely with IT, security, and digital workplace leaders to drive measurable improvements in productivity, performance, and cost efficiency.
The Solutions Architect plays a critical role in the pre sales and post sales lifecycle, serving as a technical expert, trusted advisor, and bridge between customer needs and Lakeside's technology.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead during the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives, Channel Partners, and Customer Success to design and present SysTrack solutions aligned to customer objectives.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business challenges, and success criteria.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, architecture reviews, and proof of value engagements tailored to enterprise customer use cases.
  • Design scalable, secure solution architectures that align with customer infrastructure, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Support pilots and evaluations, including configuration guidance, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, engaging with stakeholders across IT operations, digital workplace, security, and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to provide feedback on customer requirements, competitive insights, and market trends.
  • Support enablement of partners and internal teams through technical training, documentation, and best practice guidance.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or technical consulting role within enterprise software or SaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint technologies, Windows environments, virtual desktops, application performance, and enterprise IT architectures.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Experience engaging at multiple levels of an organization, including senior IT leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, customer facing environment.
