This position is fully remote, designed to allow flexibility while maintaining a structured approach to client care. You will be engaged in a collaborative virtual workspace with fellow social workers, mental health professionals, and educational staff to ensure that our services are aligned with the needs of the students we support. • Conduct comprehensive virtual psychosocial assessments, utilizing standardized tools to evaluate each student’s strengths, needs, and mental health status.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by students, ensuring the use of therapeutic modalities suited to their developmental stages.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing engaging strategies to foster participation and build rapport, while effectively managing various group dynamics.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and healthcare providers, to create integrated care plans that support the students’ overall wellbeing.
• Advocate for students' rights, assisting them in accessing community and school resources that can enhance their educational and therapeutic experiences.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes within an electronic health record system.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities to share insights, enhance clinical skills, and stay updated on the latest best practices in social work.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents in a school environment, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, family dynamics, and trauma-related challenges. Your role is crucial in providing a safe space where young individuals can express their concerns and work collaboratively towards healthier coping mechanisms and improved social functioning.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience in social work, ideally within school or child and adolescent settings.
• Proven proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and creating effective treatment strategies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport and trust with students, parents, and educational staff.
• Dedication to cultural competence and ethical practice in all interactions and treatments.

• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is preferred.
• Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by students in a remote learning environment.
• A background working closely with diverse populations, including those from different cultural, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds.
