Job description

This is a highly flexible, hybrid opportunity for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is Medicaid credentialed to work across a dynamic blend of on-site clinical care and telehealth services. Providers will spend 2-3 days per week on-site in a structured outpatient clinic and/or hospital-affiliated setting, with the remainder of their schedule conducted remotely via telepsychiatry. Spanish proficiency is required, but does not need to be fully fluent-candidates should be comfortable communicating with Spanish-speaking patients in a clinical setting.
This role is intentionally designed for clinicians seeking variety, autonomy, and career acceleration. You will gain valuable experience managing patients across both outpatient clinic environments and hospital-based settings, while also developing expertise in virtual care delivery-an increasingly critical component of modern psychiatric practice. The hybrid structure allows you to maintain meaningful in-person patient interaction while benefiting from the flexibility and efficiency of telehealth.
As part of a rapidly expanding and highly regarded healthcare organization, you will work within a model that emphasizes clinical quality, provider support, and long-term professional growth. You will collaborate with experienced psychiatrists and leadership who are deeply invested in mentoring providers and helping them expand their clinical scope. This is an ideal role for PMHNPs looking to strengthen their foundation across multiple care settings while positioning themselves as versatile, future-ready clinicians.
From managing complex psychiatric conditions in structured clinical environments to delivering continuity of care remotely, this opportunity offers a well-rounded and highly marketable experience. You will be exposed to a broad range of cases, including patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, while working within a system designed to support efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and promote high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations across outpatient clinic, hospital-affiliated, and telehealth settings
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions in adult and geriatric populations
• Provide medication management, including initiation, titration, and ongoing monitoring
• Deliver both in-person and virtual follow-up care, ensuring continuity and accessibility for patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and nursing staff
• Participate in care coordination for patients transitioning between hospital and outpatient settings
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
• Utilize telehealth platforms and clinical tools to enhance efficiency and care delivery
• Participate in clinical meetings and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required - proficiency does not need to be fully fluent; ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients is sufficient
Active Medicaid credentialing required
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience in outpatient and/or hospital-based psychiatry
• Strong clinical foundation in psychiatric assessment and psychopharmacology
• Comfort working in both in-person and telehealth environments
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with telepsychiatry platforms and virtual care delivery
• Background in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings
• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations
• Familiarity with EMR systems and integrated care workflows
Why Join Us
Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days on-site with the remainder of your schedule conducted remotely
• Diverse clinical exposure across outpatient clinics, hospital-affiliated settings, and telehealth
• Opportunity to build a highly marketable skillset combining in-person and virtual psychiatric care
• Work alongside experienced clinical leadership committed to provider development
• Be part of a growing, leading healthcare organization expanding its footprint in the region
• Structured support model designed to maximize efficiency and minimize administrative burden
• Strong work-life balance with flexible scheduling
Benefits
Benefits
• Competitive compensation with strong earning potential
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid time off and paid holidays
• Malpractice insurance coverage
• Ongoing clinical training and professional development
• Supportive clinical and administrative infrastructure
Work Environment
• Hybrid model combining on-site outpatient clinic and/or hospital coverage with remote telehealth services
• Exposure to both structured in-person care and flexible virtual care delivery
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model
• Organized, provider-focused environment designed to support long-term success
This is more than a traditional PMHNP role-it's an opportunity to build a modern, hybrid clinical career that blends flexibility, diverse experience, and long-term growth within a forward-thinking healthcare organization.
