POSITION SUMMARY:
The Demand Planning Analyst will lead cross-functional processes between customer development, category/product/marketing, supply planning, financial planning and operational planning teams. These plans will guide both internal and external plans to support revenue, margins, profitability and cost control targets.
Essential Job Function:
  • Schedule & Lead Demand Planning Reviews within S&OP Process; Directing Action Plans for Key Product Outliers
  • Review Sell-In & Sell-Out Trends & External Drivers for Short-Term to Long-Term Product Action Plans; Highlighting Variance(s) to Baseline
  • Prepare Forward Looking Forecasting Models for Comparative Analysis
  • Create & Distribute KPI Reporting; Current KPIs Include Channel, Category, Brand & Product Performance While Establishing New Metrics to Support S&OP Effectiveness
  • Monitor & Report Assumptions, Risks & Opportunities to Meet Business Targets; Escalating Priorities, as Appropriate
  • Contribute to Maintenance of the Master Demand Forecast Database
  • Support Long-Range Budget Planning Processes
  • Assist Product Segmentation to Strengthen Focus Analysis
  • Ad Hoc Analysis, Reporting & Dashboard Creation as Necessary
  • Document Current Processes & Practices
  • Educate Cross-Functional Teammates on Processes, Forecasting, Trends, Demand Chain, Data & Analytics
  • Train New Associates

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 - 3 Years of Experience in Forecasting/Planning, Demand/Supply Chain, Operations or Finance; Consumer Packaged Goods Industry Experience a Plus
  • Prior Experience with Tier 1 ERP (SAP, Oracle, JDE, AX/D365)

Education & Experience:
B.S. Business, Demand/Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or Equivalent Degree.
