• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of mental health disorders during initial consultations, and develop detailed treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Facilitate various therapeutic modalities in individual, group, and family settings, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Engage clients collaboratively to establish treatment goals and monitor their progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention if required and resource coordination to external services or support systems.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation that adheres to both state regulations and ethical best practices, ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all levels.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through training workshops, webinars, and clinical supervision, enhancing your understanding of emerging therapy practices.

The primary clientele includes individuals and families from diverse backgrounds seeking support for a variety of mental health concerns. • A valid Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license to practice in New York State.
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities, along with the ability to apply them effectively in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
• A strong ethical foundation with an adherence to confidentiality and professional conduct guidelines.

• Experience with telehealth services and remote patient interaction.
• Knowledge of community mental health resources and support services available in the Huntington area.
• Previous experience working with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

This rewarding position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
