Remote Delivery jobs are common in industries like logistics, e-commerce, and technology services, allowing employees to perform their duties from home or another off-site location. This setup provides flexibility for both employers and employees, while still ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for a compassionate professional to provide essential mental health services to individuals navigating mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, from the comfort of a remote setting.

About the Organization

Genesis Health Care Inc. is a renowned provider of comprehensive mental health services, committed to delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Our team of experienced psychiatrists and therapists work collaboratively in an outpatient office, focusing on evidence-based treatment and fostering a supportive environment for our clients. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and respond to the mental health needs of our community while maintaining a strong emphasis on professional development and clinical excellence.

Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting, enabling a flexible work-life balance while still engaging with clients and colleagues through telehealth platforms. You will be expected to maintain consistent office hours from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Our outpatient office environment encourages collaboration among professionals, providing ample opportunities for case consultations and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to evaluate symptoms related to mood disorders, considering their severity, duration, and any underlying factors affecting their mental health.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges, goals, and preferences, emphasizing client engagement and empowerment.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address mood disorders effectively.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and develop personalized self-care strategies to enhance mental well-being.
  • Continuously monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights on medication management as needed.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities to strengthen skills and stay updated with the best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Advocate for clients, working towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues and promoting awareness in the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele encompasses a broad demographic spectrum, including varying ages, backgrounds, and presenting issues. Your role will involve not only treating these conditions but also understanding the holistic context of each client's situation.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
  • Proven expertise in evidence-based practices for mood disorders, specifically in modalities such as CBT and DBT.
  • Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and manage client care.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving favorable treatment outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient mental health setting, particularly in addressing mood disorders.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client care.
  • Background in providing teletherapy services, adapting therapeutic techniques for remote delivery.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and eligible dependents, you will enjoy:

  • A robust retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays to support your work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, including access to conferences, training sessions, and specialized workshops focused on mood disorder treatment.
  • A collaborative work environment that nurtures teamwork and motivates personal and professional advancement.
