The Role:

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to join our rapidly growing team. The Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver will be responsible for freight and logistics activities within the Service Center including shipping and receiving products, driving (Class C) trucks, sorting, inventory preparation and execution. Regular trips for delivery may include driving, assisting a driver, weekend work, and overnight stays.

This role offers the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and become a key part of nobilia North America’s long-term journey. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to grow with us as we scale in North America. This role will be based in Ocoee FL (Orlando area) and report to our Southeast Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload freight, sort, repack, and deliver complete orders.
  • Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards 
  • Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards 
  • Drive a van, box truck or other non-CDL vehicle to make deliveries to residential or commercial locations. 
  • Partner with other associates to drive trucks, inspect and maintain DOT documentation, contact final mile recipients and complete all required company documentation
  • Maintain loss prevention compliance, safety standards, on-time and complete shipments as well as provide excellent customer service in partnership with Management
  • Use warehouse equipment safely to minimize potential safety hazards and personal injury risk
  • Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research product shipments in accordance with inventory control processes 
  • Assist in maintaining clean and organized Service Center floors, racking, workstations and equipment 
  • Provide general support to the Service Center and Corporate teams 
  • Overtime work may be required, based on the operational needs

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver License for the State of this posting 
  • Eligible to work in the US 
  • Able to pass a DOT Physical 
  • At least 21 years of age 
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test 
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly
  • Able to climb stairs, indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to heat
  • Able to spend up to 15 nights per month away from home (per diem provided)
