Job Description

The Senior Principal Solutions Architect will provide enterprise architecture leadership for a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing distributed systems, enabling AI-powered decision making, and designing scalable event-driven architectures. This is a highly strategic, client-facing consulting role responsible for defining technical direction, facilitating architecture decisions, and partnering with executive stakeholders to solve complex business and technology challenges.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise architecture strategy across complex distributed systems.
  • Design scalable event-driven and real-time streaming architectures.
  • Map enterprise application dependencies and system capabilities.
  • Create architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, decision records, and planning artifacts.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops and technical design sessions with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive modernization initiatives for legacy applications and services.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs, scalability, concurrency, resiliency, and fault-tolerant system design.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to align architecture with business objectives.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled enterprise architecture initiatives, including enterprise context graphs and MCP server strategy.
  • Guide technical direction while mentoring engineering teams and influencing architecture best practices.
  • Collaborate across multiple business units to improve data flow, pricing systems, and enterprise integration strategies.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10 years of Enterprise or Solutions Architecture experience.
  • Experience architecting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong background designing event-driven and real-time streaming applications.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, dependency mapping, and system integration.
  • Experience designing highly available, low-latency, fault-tolerant architectures.
