Role Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer & Architect within our Data Engineering & Architecture Consulting practice, you will lead the design and deployment of sophisticated data integration solutions. This role focuses on leveraging Palantir Foundry and AIP to build high-assurance data pipelines and architectures that drive mission-critical analytics and AI-enabled capabilities for our clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Architect & Build: Design end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion to delivery) within Palantir Foundry, ensuring scalability and security for structured and unstructured data.

  • Ontology Leadership: Develop and maintain complex ontology models, data schemas, and relationship mappings to support search and operational use cases.

  • AI Integration: Support the development of AI-enabled workflows (semantic search, entity resolution) using the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP).

  • Ecosystem Orchestration: Seamlessly integrate Palantir with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue) and Databricks/Apache Spark environments.

  • Data Governance: Implement rigorous validation, quality assurance, and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure data integrity and compliance.

  • Technical Mentorship: Lead technical design decisions, drive Agile delivery, and mentor junior engineers within a matrixed team environment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or System Integration.

  • Core Technical Stack: * Palantir Foundry (Required): Expert-level pipeline management and ontology development.

  • Palantir AIP (Required): Experience supporting AI-enabled workflows and decision support.

  • Cloud & Big Data: Proficiency with AWS (S3, APIs) and Databricks/Apache Spark.

  • Languages: Strong Python, SQL, and familiarity with Java or Scala.

  • Security: U.S. Citizenship and the ability to maintain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Advanced Palantir Skills: Performance tuning at scale and complex data exchange patterns.
