Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Database Administrators to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Oracle database environments to support business applications.
  2. Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning, resource management, and proactive issue resolution.
  3. Implement database backup, recovery, security, and replication processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
  4. Collaborate with application and technical teams to troubleshoot database issues and support enterprise data initiatives.
     

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

10+ years of experience in Oracle database administration, database performance tuning, replication, and enterprise database support.

Technical Skills

Oracle Database, SQL, Oracle Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, Database Security, Linux, Database Monitoring

Business / Domain Skills
