Job description

Requisition Number: 106358 Employer: Insight Direct USA Inc. Position Location: Chandler, AZ Position: Cloud Engineer II Job Duties: Responsible for the full end to end delivery of Google Cloud Projects for external clients, inclusive of both Google Cloud Platform and Workspace product offerings. This includes project planning, resource management, delivery, stakeholder management, governance, communications, risk management, change management, and retrospectives.

Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal communications to stakeholders at all organizational levels -C-suite through cubicle-level. Collaborate and facilitate meetings with internal teams such as sales, solution architecture, technical account management, customer success and Cloud Economics to align on project requirements, respond to changing client needs, and escalate these concerns to executive leadership when necessary. Participate in pre-sales activities such as proposal development, due diligence, deal structuring, and client presentations.

Work collaboratively with peers and leadership in the PMO for status updates, issues, risks, decisions, and change requests. Lead and motivate project teams, oversee engineers, architects, and project managers across many different disciplines such as Infrastructure Modernization, Data Engineering and Application Development. Support project managers in developing detailed project plans and in the ongoing delivery of projects and workstreams.

This includes working with waterfall and agile methodologies and serving as scrum master when needed. Various Worksites: Position is based out of Chandler, AZ HQ but telecommuting is permitted on a case-by-case basis. RFI: Frequency: Not applicable.

The position is based out of the employer's headquarters in Chandler, Arizona. However, telecommuting may be permitted on a case-by-case basis. If approved to work remotely, the employee may work remotely on a full-time basis and is not expected to regularly report to the Chandler headquarters office.

Accordingly, there is no travel requirement associated with the position. Relocation: Not applicable. Relocation is not required or expected for this position.

If remote work is approved, the employee may continue working remotely and will not be required to relocate to Chandler, Arizona, or to the headquarters office location. Job Requirements: Education Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, or closely related. Experience Requirements: 24 months of experience in job offered, Technical Project Manager, Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or closely related.

Special skills requirements: Knowledge of the Google ecosystem to manage projects involving Infrastructure Modernization, Data Engineering, and App Development. Ability to manage the full project lifecycle (Initiation to Retrospective) using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience managing project budgets, profit and loss (P&L), and client payment schedules.

Ability to present status, risks, and financials to executives, Google representatives, and clients. Experience in a client-facing role delivering technology solutions for external customers (not just internal IT). Ability to draft proposals, structure deals, and develop Statements of Work (SOWs) alongside sales teams.

Experience leading diverse teams (Engineers, Architects, other PMs) and facilitating alignment between Sales, Customer Success, and Cloud Economics. Experience working with tools like Jira (Agile tracking), Smartsheets/MS Project (Gantt charts), and Google Sheets/Slides. Must have or be able to obtain a certification as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Database Engineer.
