Project Scope:
MUSC is seeking an experienced API Developer & Application Analyst to support the Enterprise Epic Research Team. This role focuses on building secure healthcare integrations, developing APIs, validating and analyzing healthcare data, and supporting Epic EHR research initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epic Bridges, Cloverleaf, HL7, FHIR, healthcare integrations, and Epic technical build activities.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, configure, and maintain complex Epic research interfaces and integrations.
โ€ข Build and support secure API integrations between Epic, REDCap, OnCore, SPARC, and third-party applications.
โ€ข Develop HL7 and FHIR-based interfaces to securely exchange healthcare data.
โ€ข Create secure data structures, perform data validation, and support large-scale healthcare data analysis.
โ€ข Work closely with Epic Security teams to ensure compliance and secure clinical data exchange.
โ€ข Support Epic Research workflows and advanced Epic clinical build activities.
โ€ข Collaborate with OnCore and SPARC development teams to implement FHIR-based clinical trial integrations.
