Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking dedicated Mental Health Counselors to join our supportive and innovative team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual client needs. This role allows for a flexible work setting through telehealth—catering to the needs of both clients and employees. You'll have the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, typically from 9 AM to 4 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate the varying needs of our clients.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to formulate customized treatment plans that address clients' unique challenges.
• Administer therapeutic interventions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring a professional approach tailored to each client.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential clinical records while complying with HIPAA regulations and other professional standards, ensuring that client data is safeguarded.
• Collaborate with an expert treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals to ensure holistic care and cohesive service delivery.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review processes to elevate the quality of care delivered and incorporate best practices into daily methodologies.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and useful community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their recovery.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest research in mental health interventions to continually enrich your practice and inform your treatment strategies.

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with various mental health issues, including trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, and depressive states. You'll work closely with a diverse client population, responding to their specific emotional and psychological needs while fostering an atmosphere of trust and support.

• A Master’s degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, combining flexibility with structured methodologies to meet the individualized needs of clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Robust problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities to navigate complex client situations.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is preferred, as it allows for a better understanding of virtual client engagement and the unique aspects of remote therapy.
