Data Visualization & Power BI Consultant
Contractor Scope -
Design & Build
• Develop Power BI dashboards from structured and semi-structured data sources (Excel, enterprise systems)
• Create scalable data models and intuitive visualizations aligned to executive needs
Iterate & Optimize
• Drive rapid iteration cycles based on stakeholder feedback
• Improve usability, performance, and clarity of insights over time
Translate Business Needs
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify key metrics, definitions, and success measures
• Shape dashboard narratives (not just visuals)
Standardize & Enable
• Establish reusable templates, data definitions, and visualization standards
• Provide guidance on governance and best practices
Preferred skills and qualifications:
5+ years of experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards for business and executive audiences
Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization design, and performance optimization
Demonstrated experience building integrated dashboards that unify data across enterprise, functional, and initiative/use case levels
