Job description

The Analytics Senior Manager will work in coordination with the Analytics Director to develop and monitor data related strategies and executions for agency accounts.  The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our clients. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow. They will use analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.
Main day-to-day functions range from developing reports and tagging implementation for various digital ad campaigns to presenting performance updates to key internal stakeholders.  This position has 1 direct report and is responsible for managing the Analytics Coordinator. Our clients expect us to be on the leading edge of digital analytics and routinely ask us to find solutions to abstract questions.  We pride ourselves on our strong drive to find solutions to these asks, grounded in data.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of digital analytics, in collaboration with the Director of Analytics, for designated client(s) - from strategy to reporting
    • Work directly with internal and client teams to develop a testable, trackable data strategy grounded in historical / industry insights and based on hypotheses
  • Tracking Implementation
    • Work with internal team to create and execute attribution, measurement, and tagging plans for all digital data inputs
      • Google Tag Manager
      • Marchex (call tracking)
      • Google Analytics
        1. Universal analytics and GA4
      • UTM code implementation
      • Set-up and manage data inputs and dashboards within business intelligence platform (Domo)
  • Reporting
    • Regularly analyze performance and optimization of campaign strategy
    • Pulling data from Google Analytics (GA) and business intelligence platform (Domo) into client presentations, and building out presentation slides
    • Build performance reports for client stakeholders
    • Communicate and present ideas effectively and efficiently
    • Visualize data intuitively using Looker Studio and excel.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for client reports.
  • 3-5 years experience implementing analytics reporting and tagging either client-side or in a marketing capacity.
    • Familiarity with healthcare marketing a plus
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong drive to solve potentially abstract problems with solutions grounded in data.
  • Experience leading client presentations.
  • Self-motivated to work for a remote team.
  • Experience with data platforms such as Tableau or Domo, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong experience in Excel.
  • Experience with SQL.
