Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Architect to design, build, and maintain enterprise data architectures that directly support Supply Chain execution and performance measurement. This role is responsible for developing data models, pipelines, and integration frameworks that produce accurate, timely supply chain metrics and provide the foundational data needed for effective procurement and supplier management. The Senior Data Architect leads complex data architecture initiatives, drives improvements to data systems and processes, and collaborates with crossfunctional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highquality data solutions. This position contributes to departmental strategy, operational planning, and the advancement of data capabilities that enable Supply Chain decisionmaking and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

Develop and maintain logical and physical data models supporting enterprise data needs

Design and implement relational and NoSQL database solutions across onpremise and cloud environments

Lead data migrations, conversions, and performance optimization efforts

Diagnosing and resolving complex data processing and integration issues

Oversee testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of data systems

Ensure adherence to data quality, security, and compliance standards

Lead complex projects, delegate tasks, and review technical deliverables

Mentor and coach team members and contribute to departmental planning and operational goals

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in data architecture, database design, or related field, OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools

Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance

Certifications in cloud architecture, databases, or data management frameworks

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent documentation and communication skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is  $137,000 - $203,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $119,000 - $177,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
