Role Overview:

As the Data Analytics & AI Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing our global data and analytics capabilities across a rapidly scaling CDMO environment. Following significant investments in standardizing systems, processes, and master data globally, the organization is shifting its focus to generating actionable insights, automated KPI reporting, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and data models that draw from multiple global systems (ERP, LIMS, QMS, CRM, CMMS and other platforms). You will also support in evaluating, implementing, and operationalizing early‑stage AI use cases, working closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams.

This role may be performed fully remote; however, candidates must be located on the East Coast of the United States, with flexibility for early start times to support UK operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence & Reporting (Primary Focus — 60%)

  • Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and data models.
  • Translate business requirements into well‑structured analytical solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, and commercial areas.
  • Ensure consistency and global alignment on metrics, definitions, and UI/UX standards.
  • Optimize Power BI performance, including DAX calculations, data modeling, and incremental refresh.
  • Partner with business process owners to enable self-service analytics.

Data Engineering & Integration (20%)

  • Extract, model, and transform data from multiple global systems.
  • Support data pipeline development for analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and reliability across reporting ecosystems.
  • Build shared datasets, semantic models, and standardized structures.

AI Capability Support & Enablement (20%)

  • Help identify and scope early AI use cases.
  • Configure and support AI toolsets such as copilots and embedded SaaS AI.
  • Ensure safe and compliant AI usage in partnership with IT Security.
  • Provide training and documentation for AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 3–7 years’ experience in data analytics or BI.
  • Strong Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and modeling skills.
  • Experience with enterprise data sources.
  • SQL and cloud analytics experience (Azure preferred).
  • Understanding of data governance and KPI standardization.
  • Strong stakeholder communication.
  • CDMO or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
  • Exposure to AI concepts or tools preferred.
  • Python or similar scripting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs and ETL frameworks preferred.

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is $120,000–$130,000 annually. This range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.

All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program. Bonus targets vary by career level and are based on individual and company performance.
