Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning and AI. Our business value and leadership has been recognized by various market research firms, including Forrester and Gartner.

The Business Analyst will support due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and investment analysis by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of land, mineral, and royalty data. This role bridges technical data management and business decision-making — combining analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration across geoscience, legal, finance, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proven experience supporting business, data, or operational workflows in a complex organization.
  • Interview SMEs and business stakeholders to gather and document future-state requirements.
  • Create and maintain requirements documentation for future NPS workstreams.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to support story writing and validate Jira story readiness.
  • Develop field-level metadata, including field definitions, ownership, and downstream mapping.
  • Create process flow documentation to support future-state design and development readiness.
  • Document business rules and workflow logic needed for build-ready delivery.
  • Help translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the delivery team.
  • Partner with business, process, and product resources to resolve open questions before development begins.
  • Support stronger backlog readiness by ensuring requirements are complete and usable before build starts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, functional analysis, or a similar role
  • 5+ years’ experience documenting business requirements, process flows, field mappings, and business rules
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine requirements
  • Experience working with SAP, Salsify, or similar enterprise systems
  • Ability to work across business functions and translate needs beyond a purely technical or data lens
  • Experience working in agile environments and supporting requirements readiness for iterative delivery
  • Experience supporting product setup, master data, workflow, or enterprise process initiatives preferred
  • Experience supporting requirements readiness for agile or sprint-based delivery models preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or related enterprise environments preferred

Benefits

This position offers an excellent opportunity for significant career development in a fast-growing and challenging entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of individual responsibility.
