Job description

Position: Senior Microsoft Cloud Specialist 
Company: Quotient (A VTG Company) 
Clearance Requirement: Other: Federal Background Check (Tier 1 Suitability)
Location Requirement: Remote/East Coast (Must be U.S.-based personnel due to access to sensitive tenant configurations and controlled unclassified information)
Compensation Range: $160K-190K Annually 
Position Summary
Serves as the technical lead for ABMC's enterprise cloud infrastructure, providing advanced administration, configuration, and troubleshooting across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID. This role drives tenant health reviews, security posture enhancements, and compliance maturity.
Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and review configurations for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and Azure controls.
  • Configure and mature the Microsoft Purview environment, including refining Records Management retention rules, testing automated classifiers, and applying data labels.
  • Review Microsoft 365 and Azure tenant settings against DHS, CISA, C-CAR, and emergency directives, identifying gaps and executing remediation plans.
  • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, including security reviews, data exposure analysis, and dependency tracking.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve Priority 1 through Priority 4 service incidents, logging all actions within the approved ticketing system.
  • Document system configurations, architecture reviews, API/interface planning materials, and health check reports.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
  • Must hold at least ONE current Microsoft 365 or Azure administration certification.
  • Must hold at least ONE current Microsoft security or identity certification.
  • Deep technical experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, Entra ID, device management, security, and Azure cloud services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recognized Microsoft partner credentials, designations, or specializations.
  • Experience managing enterprise cloud security in federal or comparable environments.
