Ignite Visibility is seeking a high-energy, proven Social Media Director with deep agency experience to lead, innovate, and scale our organic social media department. In this remote leadership role, you will be responsible for driving high-level strategy, managing key client relationships, and directly growing both our client portfolio and internal team of strategists, creators, and support staff across the US.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Department Growth & Team Leadership
  • Scale the Department: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing distributed team of strategists, junior support members, freelance writers, and visual designers.

  • Process Optimization: Standardize workflows to maximize productivity, finding faster, simpler, and cost-effective ways to deliver top-tier results.

  • Team Development: Provide ongoing training, clear directions, and continuous guidance to elevate overall team capabilities in social strategy and client communication in a remote environment.

Client Strategy & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary lead for client-facing social strategy, seamlessly pitching, presenting, and managing client expectations across various industries.

  • Conduct deep competitive research and industry analysis to position clients ahead of market trends.

  • Translate client business goals into highly engaging, creative monthly organic social and influencer campaigns.

Campaign Execution & Platform Management
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and growth of client social media profiles across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms.

  • Direct the development of original marketing assets, including product imagery, short-form video (Reels/TikToks), creative copywriting, and subtle motion graphics.

  • Produce detailed monthly performance reports highlighting strategic insights, KPI progress, and actionable recommendations.

  • Continuously test, learn, and optimize content tactics using data-driven methodologies.

Required Qualifications
  • Location: Must reside and be legally authorized to work in the United States (100% Remote).

  • Agency Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years of dedicated professional organic social media and influencer marketing experience in a fast-paced agency setting.

  • Leadership Track Record: Demonstrated experience successfully growing a team and department structure.

  • Social Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of social media platform algorithms, industry best practices, and campaign management tactics.

  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills tailored for remote collaboration.

  • Technical & Analytical Skills:

    • Familiarity with social media ad management systems.

    • Google Analytics certification (preferred).

    • Basic SEO knowledge (preferred).

  • Creative Abilities: Experience in copywriting, creative writing, short-form video ideation, and asset direction (preferred).

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
