Job description

The Payroll Clerk (Remote) plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within our organization. This position involves collaboration with the HR team and direct reporting to the Payroll Manager. The Payroll Clerk handles various payroll-related tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards. This remote role requires strong communication and organizational skills with no travel required. Opportunities for advancement and cross-training in HR functions are available for career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Process and verify payroll data accurately and on time
  • Perform data entry and maintain employee time tracking records
  • Ensure compliance with payroll policies and regulations
  • Maintain detailed and confidential payroll records
  • Generate payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
  • Communicate with employees and resolve payroll-related issues
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team and report to Payroll Manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in payroll processing
