Job description

Identifies, collects, and maintains timely, accurate and complete information about cancer diagnosed and/or treated within RRMC. Assists with compliance for an approved Cancer Program as set forth by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC). Additional responsibilities include assistance with the cancer committee meetings and agenda, tumor board, cancer registry operations, data collection, quality management, and cancer data analysis/submission to the CoC, National Cancer Data Base (NCDB), State of Vermont and other accrediting bodies. Analyzes and reports cancer data to ensure quality, and to promote growth and development within the regional cancer programs.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Completion of college level Anatomy and Physiology course. 

Minimum Work Experience 

  • Prior medical office experience. 
  • Tumor Registry experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Certified Tumor Registrar. 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities 

  • Medical Terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Moderate Microsoft Office skills. 
  • Presentation skills.
  • Keyboarding/Data Entry.    

Pay range: $26.57 - $38.71
