Details:
Data Integration Developer - Oracle ODI & OIC
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long term project
Mandatory: Pharma or Bio (Not Healthcare/Insurance)
Job Function:
The Data Integration Developer is a role for a BioPharma client building a data warehouse. The Data Integration Developer will be responsible for designing and writing ETL solutions using Oracle's Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) software tools (and related technologies)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with client Commercial Sales and Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and other stakeholders to implement Data Integration jobs using ODI for batch jobs and OIC for application-to-application integration.
  • Create source to target mappings for simple to complex data integration tasks.
  • Integrate enterprise applications such as Veeva CRM and Oracle ERP with other enterprise applications and data feeds.
  • Document Technical Requirements based on Data Requirements
  • Provide estimates and timelines to deliver functionality based on Data Requirements
  • Provide updates and status reports to the Project Manager around progress and any issues or blockers
  • Provide advice and guidance on functionality and implementation strategy for Oracle ODI/OIC

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator for batch application development within a Data Warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud for building data connections between various applications in the client's environment.
  • ODI and OIC configuration and setup experience
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and source to target mapping concepts
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with ODI, OIC and Data Warehouses
  • Experience working with a Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Medical Device organization.
  • Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Good functional knowledge of Life Sciences commercialization processes.
  • Experience with ETL frameworks for auditing and logging job progress and completion.
  • Familiarity with the following is a plus:
  • Experience with Commercial Data (KOL, HCP, HCO, Prescription, Sales Territories etc...)
