Job description

Position: Data Entry Coordinator (Modern Systems) Work Schedule: Onsite one day per week Location: Minneapolis, MN Houry Pay Rate: $27.50/hr. Contract Duration: 12-Months The Data Entry Coordinator supports Demand Side Management (DSM) programs within the Energy Efficiency and Demand Response organization. This role provides operational and administrative support across multiple customer incentive and rebate programs, with responsibilities shifting based on seasonal demand and program volume. Primary Program Areas

  • Residential Saver Switch
  • AC Rewards (Smart Thermostat Program)
  • Limited Commercial Saver Switch support
  • EV rebates
  • Energy efficiency rebate programs
  • Pilot programs
  • Windsource enrollments
This is a high-volume operations role focused on rebate processing, program administration, and compliance. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical, as rebate and incentive programs are regulated by the Public Utilities Commission (PUC).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process high volumes of rebate applications and work orders annually
  • Manage work from shared Salesforce queues, prioritizing requests in chronological order
  • Validate customer eligibility, equipment qualifications, and incentive amounts
  • Review applications submitted through digital platforms, PDFs, and physical mail
  • Coordinate with third-party vendor Hunt Electric through Salesforce, email, and chat
  • Monitor workloads, progress, and productivity metrics using Salesforce dashboards
  • Collaborate with team members in a remote work environment
  • Support residential and commercial rebate processing workflows as needed
  • Maintain compliance with program guidelines and regulatory requirements
Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in:
  • High-volume, shared-queue environments
  • Operational processing or program administration
  • Analytical and validation skills
  • Prior data entry / operations experience (modern systems, not manual entry)
  • Experience working in a large corporate or cross-functional environment
  • Utility or rebate experience preferred

Program Volume
  • The team processes approximately:
  • 70,000 residential rebates annually
  • 12,000 commercial rebates annually

Customer Interaction This role primarily supports internal stakeholders within the DSM organization, with limited indirect support to external customers through coordination with electricians and installation partners regarding eligibility and program requirements.
Schedule & Work Arrangement
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • During training, employees follow the trainer's schedule
  • Primarily remote position
  • Required in-office presence one day per week (Monday or Friday)
