This job typically requires accurately inputting information, such as codes, numbers, or text, into databases or software platforms. Employees often work from home and may handle sensitive data, making attention to detail and confidentiality important. Common industries hiring for these roles include healthcare, finance, and e-commerce. Remote data entry coding jobs usually require basic computer skills, familiarity with relevant software, and reliable internet access.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote data entry coding specialist?

To thrive as a Remote Data Entry Coding Specialist, you need strong attention to detail, fast and accurate typing skills, and a solid understanding of data management procedures, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with data entry software, spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets), and sometimes basic coding or database management systems is typically required. Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective time management are crucial soft skills for remote work success. These competencies ensure error-free data processing, maintain data integrity, and support efficient workflow in a remote environment.

Position Overview

Beacon of Hope Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time remote position allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals grappling with mental health concerns. You will work collaboratively with clients to facilitate their journey toward emotional well-being and recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs.

About the Organization

Beacon of Hope Behavioral Health is a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services in Washington State, focused on delivering high-quality care to individuals and families. Our mission is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where clients can access professional therapeutic services that address a variety of mental health conditions. We are committed to enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients through a holistic approach to mental well-being.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your working hours and the opportunity to create an effective work-life balance. However, you will also engage with clients through our outpatient office in Redmond, Washington, occasionally collaborating with a close-knit team of mental health professionals. Our firm promotes teamwork and encourages open communication among staff members, ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth psychological assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health concerns, utilizing validated assessment tools and interviews.
  • Develop customized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals, cultural backgrounds, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach to therapy.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to effectively address clients' issues.
  • Work closely with clients to explore coping mechanisms, enhance problem-solving skills, and develop resilience skills to manage stressors and symptoms.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential electronic records in line with HIPAA standards, ensuring accuracy in data entry and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in regular supervision sessions, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities to strengthen clinical competencies and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily serving adult clients facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. You will employ a strengths-based approach while addressing each client's unique background and life experiences, creating a safe space for open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of an independent license, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), issued by the relevant state board; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to tailor treatment plans based on client evaluations effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating empathy and compassion in client interactions.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with experience in electronic health record (EHR) systems being advantageous.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, preferably with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy and digital therapeutic tools is a plus, given the remote nature of the position.
  • Background in crisis intervention and risk management strategies.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides mental health support and resources.
  • Professional liability insurance to ensure coverage in your counseling practice.
  • Opportunities for unlimited referrals, leading to a fulfilling caseload.
  • Minimal paperwork, allowing you to focus more on client care rather than administrative tasks.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Beacon of Hope Behavioral Health, we believe in supporting the professional development of our staff. You will have access to ongoing training and workshops tailored to your interests and career aspirations. There are also potential pathways for leadership roles and specializations within the organization as your experience grows.

Why Join Our Team

We foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering you to thrive as a mental health professional. Together, we can build a brighter future for our clients and our communities.
