• Conduct thorough assessments to ascertain clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs upon entry into the detox program.
• Provide tailored counseling and support to individuals and families as they navigate the detoxification process and confront related challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods during both individual and group counseling sessions to foster healing and recovery.
• Develop and execute comprehensive service plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on achievable goals and supportive resources.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to essential services and support systems, while addressing overarching social justice issues.
• Assist in the development, evaluation, and reporting of programs aimed at improving services and outcomes for our client population.
• Foster relationships with local community organizations and government agencies to expand and enhance the services offered to our clients.
• Engage actively in team meetings and professional training to stay current with best practices and innovative approaches to social work.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification, facing various challenges tied to substance use and mental health. With a focus on empathy and understanding, you will support clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their unique needs and circumstances are addressed. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
• Knowledgeable in trauma-informed care, social justice issues, and community resource management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills necessary for effective client interaction.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or a similar setting, especially related to addiction or mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and methodologies within the social work field.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
