Addison Group is partnering with an established organization in the aviation industry to hire a Sales Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation aftermarket experience who enjoys building customer relationships, supporting sales operations, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a specialized industry.

Job Description:

The Sales Account Manager will oversee customer accounts while supporting day-to-day sales activities, quote entry, order management, and account development. This role combines customer relationship management with administrative responsibilities and requires someone who is comfortable handling a high volume of work with strong attention to detail.

Comprehensive training will be provided, as the aviation industry requires specialized knowledge and product familiarity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries and requests.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and enter a high volume of customer quotes into the company's ERP system.
  • Process repair and sales orders while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Research market trends and gather information to support sales efforts and business development.
  • Partner with internal departments to coordinate customer needs and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Review customer purchasing activity and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Monitor open orders and provide customers with timely updates on order status.
  • Assist with reports, special projects, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience.
  • Prior experience in the aviation aftermarket industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of aviation components, repair processes, and industry certifications.
  • Demonstrated success managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Quantum ERP experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
