Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Systems Integration Architect! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Position Location: We're all about flexibility. This will be a remote role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA. We are open to remote candidates.
The Systems Integration Architect is responsible for designing, building, and delivering enterprise integrations using approved architecture standards and patterns. This role focuses on technical execution, translating enterprise architecture direction into scalable, reliable, and production-ready solutions.
This is a hands-on delivery leadership role accountable for ensuring integrations are effectively implemented and supported in production. The role also provides technical oversight of AMS Integration and Development teams, driving integration stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
A Day in the Life...
Integration Design & Delivery
• Design and implement end-to-end integrations using approved patterns (APIs, middleware, event-based, batch)
• Develop detailed technical designs, specifications, and interface documentation
• Define and implement:
o Data mappings and transformations
o Interface contracts and schemas
o Error handling, resiliency, and retry mechanisms
o Logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Lead hands-on build and configuration across SAP and integrated platforms
Technical Governance & Oversight
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for AMS Integration & Development teams
• Oversee AMS production support activities and act as primary contact for critical incidents & escalations
• Ensure SLA adherence, consistent application of integration standards, and robust documentation
• Drive improvements in integration stability, performance, and defect reduction
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise-defined integration standards and patterns
• Participate in design reviews to validate feasibility, performance, and build quality
• Identify and escalate gaps where standards are not practical for delivery
• Ensure custom development is appropriately designed and aligned to approved approaches
Integration Operations & Reliability
• Ensure integrations are scalable, resilient, and supportable in production
• Define monitoring, alerting, and operational metrics
• Support deployments, cutovers, and stabilization activities
• Drive continuous improvement in integration performance and reliability
Collaboration
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment to strategy and standards
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Act as the bridge between architecture intent and implementation execution
What We Are Looking For:
Required
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in integration using SAP middleware or other
• Experience with SAP BTP and integration technologies (CPI, APIs, EDI, middleware)
• Working knowledge of ABAP development and a good understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, PP, or SD
• Experience leading or overseeing AMS support teams (integration and development)
• Strong technical skills and a background in enterprise architecture
• Experience with S/4HANA integration landscapes
• Excellent problem solving, communication and presentation skills
• CPG industry knowledge is a plus

• Additional experience preferred beyond minimum
• Beneficial certifications/application knowledge
