Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Data Modeler for our client in the Financial Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension/ conversion)

Location: Merrimack, NH (Hybrid – 2 weeks in office per month, rest remote. Alternate weeks)

Salary: $120,000-$125,000/Annually (OR) $60.00-$65.00/Hourly

Role: Data Modeler

Primary Skills: Oracle Apps Technical

Role Description: The Data Modeler must have 5+ years of experience.

Note: There will be a Data Modeling scenario that you will need to complete if you get selected for an interview.

Must Have:

- SAP Power Designer (Erwin is fine as well).

- SQL Querying.

- DO NOT want a Data Engineer/Architect. Need a full time Data Modeler.

The Expertise You Have:

- Strong Data modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical, 3nF, Dimensional) at both a project and enterprise level

- Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units.

- Data Modeling Tool such as PowerDesigner, Oracle Designer or Erwin

- Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams

- Ability to write SQL to query data (ideally ANSI SQL)

- General working knowledge of AI technologies, techniques, and trends

- Strong analytic skills

- Ability to explain Data structures to a non-technical audience

- Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills

- Improve the overall analysis of business requirements and deliver well architected and efficiently.

- Assist in developing guidelines and standards for the design checklist, governance process and for cataloging and maintaining data repositories

- Mentor junior data modelers

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
