This is a full-time position working out of our Champaign, IL location. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This position reports into our office in Champaign, IL location. Local candidates preferred. However, we may consider hybrid/remote work arrangements.
Typical pay for this position is $130,000-$140,000 annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected.
The Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer is responsible to design, build, and operate enterprise integration scenarios that connect Oracle Cloud Applications and third-party platforms. In this role you will own the full integration lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with OIC integrations, processes, and visual builder applications, and will combine that with a clear understanding of integration patterns, API management, and Oracle Cloud Applications data models.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop integration flows in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) connecting Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, OM, Financials, WMS) with on-premises and third-party systems.
  • Build app-driven and scheduled orchestrations, including complex mappings, error handling, and recovery flows.
  • Configure and operate a wide range of OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, payment platforms, custom).
  • Develop process automation flows using OIC Process Cloud Service for human-centric workflows.
  • Build Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Implement API management strategies, including security policies, throttling, and developer portals.
  • Design robust error-handling and notification patterns, including retries, escalation, and resubmission workflows.
  • Optimize performance of high-volume integrations through batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Applications functional teams to align integrations with business processes.
  • Provide production support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation - including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures - so that the system remains supportable, auditable, and easy to onboard new engineers onto over time.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Five or more years of integration experience, with strong hands-on time in Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, SCM, OM, Financial, WMS) data models and APIs.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web service development.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service.
  • Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform.
  • Strong scripting skills (Groovy, JavaScript) and SQL.
  • Experience with security standards (OAuth2, SAML).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred
  • Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database integration.
  • Familiarity with event-driven integration on OCI.
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD patterns for OIC content.
  • Working knowledge of related platforms (MuleSoft).
