Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participating in Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and address emerging patient needs through data collection and analysis.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients facing terminal illnesses and their families within a hospice care framework. This population requires specialized care that addresses not only the medical aspects of their condition but also the intense emotional and psychological challenges of end-of-life scenarios. Your role is crucial in providing support that fosters dignity, comfort, and quality of life during this sensitive time.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience, preferably within a behavioral health or clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in a clinical context.
