• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments tailored to the unique needs of students and their families, identifying mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, and medical necessities.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, applying therapeutic techniques that foster a supportive environment for clients to express their needs, explore solutions, and promote personal growth.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that address specific challenges faced by clients, performing regular evaluations while documenting progress notes and assessments through electronic systems.
• Respond to crisis situations by evaluating risk and determining appropriate interventions, making timely referrals to community resources and local agencies as needed, including substance use treatment services.
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement teams to enhance data collection methods, ensuring the best practices in service delivery are adhered to, thereby improving patient outcomes.

Your efforts will primarily support children and families within local schools, focusing on addressing their mental health and emotional support needs. You will work with diverse populations, offering culturally competent services and empowering clients to navigate challenges effectively. This role is pivotal in bridging gaps in mental health care, providing direct support to underserved communities.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis on mental health from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), demonstrating your professional credentials.
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly working with children or adolescents.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based counseling techniques, crisis intervention practices, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in service delivery scenarios.
• Excellent skills in group facilitation and planning, enabling effective therapeutic interactions and community engagement.

• Experience working in school-based programs or community mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems for documentation and communication.
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, enhancing holistic treatment approaches for clients.
