Partner with the best

As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, you will provide services that will range in scope from performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies Equipment: Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X-ray Testing machine hardware and software products at Waygate and customer locations. Travel expected in excess of 70%.


As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, after a rigorous Technical Training Program you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment, such as: X-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PCs.

  • Providing customers with technical support via phone and onsite service

  • Providing timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.

  • Being responsible for driving customer satisfaction from commitment through quality service standards.

  • Monitoring site safety during work scope execution.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Possess a four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example: verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background.

  • Be able to travel up to 70% of the time for work

  • Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).

  • Must currently hold valid US citizenship status

The annual pay scale for this position is between $59,100.00 - $121,510.00.

Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above.
