Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity at the Keck Health Care Center. This position offers a salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year and is focused on providing comprehensive behavioral health services to various populations while effectively documenting care and outcomes.

Work Environment

As a remote position, this role provides flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be a critical member of a community health clinic, collaborating with professionals who are equally dedicated to providing comprehensive care. While the position allows for remote work, you will engage with clients through virtual platforms and electronic systems, ensuring uninterrupted access to necessary social services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, culturally appropriate bio-psychosocial assessments that cover mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs in a primary care setting.
  • Deliver tailored behavioral health services to individuals, couples, and families, which includes counseling, intake evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
  • Create and maintain accurate electronic documentation of mental health evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans to ensure effective case management and quality care.
  • Provide liaison services and assist clients in navigating local resources, including medication assistance programs and community agencies to enhance their support systems.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality Improvement teams to refine processes related to data collection, enhancing both service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse array of clients, enriching their treatment experience through individualized care that reflects their unique backgrounds and needs. Your expertise in the behavioral health field will enable you to assess and address the complex challenges faced by our patients, which may include mental health disorders, substance use issues, and primary health care integration.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work and a valid LCSW license to practice in California is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and an ability to make independent clinical judgments are essential.
  • Exceptional skills in group facilitation and an understanding of planning processes are highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health clinic setting or integrated care environments.
