The Senior Project Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for overseeing and leading mid-to-large scale multi-discipline installations within a Clinical Laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions implementations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, efficient operation, and optimal performance of the laboratory solution implementation.

This position reports to the Manager, Project Management and is part of the Solutions One Project Management Team located in the US and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage the entire implementation lifecycle of mid to large-scale multi-discipline installations within Clinical Laboratory settings.

  • Develop and execute instrumentation project plans, ensuring customer readiness and adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including laboratory directors, engineers, technicians, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboratory infrastructure, and readiness requirements to recommend appropriate instrumentation, data management, and automation system solutions timeline

  • Oversee the procurement and installation of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • B.S. Degree with 5+ years of Project Management experience

  • Proven track record in managing projects, and be able to provide examples and project artifacts, i.e., Communication Plans, Project Plans, Risk Plans, etc.

  • Advanced understanding of the Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with a heavy emphasis on the Laboratory Regulatory environment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Project Management software such as Smartsheet

  • Experience reading and interpreting floor plans and design drawings

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel Monday-Friday, 80% nationally

  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Construction and IT experience in Project Management

  • PMP Certification is a plus.

  • Background in Medical Technology and work experience

  • Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA)

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$127,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
