What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically minded intern to support our marketing and customer experience team for our Sustainable Infrastructure business at Johnson Controls. This paid, summer internship offers hands-on experience focusing on data management, analytics, and operational support to enhance marketing effectiveness and improve decision-making across campaigns, content, and strategic market planning. This is an ideal opportunity for a student pursuing business analytics, marketing analytics, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced B2B environment.

How you will do it:

Market PlanningData & Analytics Support

  • Assistwithour annualmarket planning data preparation and analysis

  • Research and package data for the market planning process including competitive research, energy market data,market opportunity and value-unlock analysis, campaignperformance data, etc.

  • Consultantsspend and job chargeability insights

  • Eventspend, performance, and ROI (plan vs actual)

CRM & Data Operations

  • Support development and maintenance of marketing performance metrics

  • Contribute to a Saleforce.com analytics dashboard and reporting processes

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems

  • Supportthetracking of leads, campaigns, and engagement metrics

Content & Asset Data Management

  • Audit andmaintaincase study and marketing asset databases

  • Assistwith launching email campaigns andwebinarevent support

  • Assistin building andoptimizinga centralized asset repository (e.g., SharePoint)

  • Improve searchability and organization

  • Recommenddatastructure and taxonomy

DataOrganization& Process Support

  • Support updates to legacy content systems (e.g.,Qvidian, fact sheets)

  • Perform structured, high-volume dataintegritytasks

You will also engage with other interns throughout the company as part of our internship development training program which culminates in a competitive small group team project.
