Data Management & Analysis:

Research & compiles information to support ad-hoc operational projects & initiatives.

Synthesizes & analyzes data & provides detailed summaries including graphical data presentations illustrating trends & recommending practical options or solutions while considering the impact on business strategy & supporting leadership decision making.

Leverages program & operational data & measurements to define & demonstrate progress, ROI & impacts.

Maintains a Working Knowledge of applicable federal, state & local laws / regulations, Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program & Code of Conduct, as well as other policies, procedures & guidelines in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical & professional behavior & safe work practices.

Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

The Capital Sourcing Analyst provides strategic support to the Sourcing Managers via a variety of essential activities. Supports the division in obtaining annual financial goals. Works independently and receives general direction and guidance from sourcing manager.

  • Responsible for supporting sourcing and procurement operations by obtaining and managing vendor quotes, including updating expired quotes and maintaining accurate vendor records within procurement systems (PeopleSoft). Ensures pricing accuracy through verification processes and validates on-contract versus off-contract purchases to maintain compliance.
  • Reviews and approves Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) via Microsoft Teams or other designated method, confirming quote validity, pricing, terms, addresses, and expiration dates.
  • Develops and maintains team performance reporting dashboards using Tableau or other designated software to track key metrics and support decision-making.
  • Manages HPG contracts within Icertis, including oversight of contract lifecycle activities and coordination of contract build sheets with the Content group.
  • Leads CRT form reviews for Capital initiatives and is responsible for submitting Capital CRTs to Finance. Provides support for Capital sourcing events and manages the end-to-end contract signature process.
  • Leads select contract and S2 extensions, coordinates Technology and Security Assessment submissions, and calculates and documents savings across multiple Capital categories to ensure accurate reporting and value realization.
  • Serves as a contact for RHM management-team members as it relates to Capital purchasing/sourcing issues. Provides guidance and investigates issues raised by ministries related to Capital contracts.
  • Works with other Supply Chain verticals to support processes and procedures that optimize the value of the Trinity Health-Supplier relationship.
  • Provides cross-functional support by covering sourcing specialists in purchase order (PO) processing as needed
  • Manages & implements small-scale projects, programs & initiatives. Develops & manages aligned production, communications, service delivery plans & workflows to ensure plans are successfully implemented & services are delivered on time, on budget & to specifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with major course work in business or supply chain management; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3+ (three) years of sourcing experience which may include data analytics, procurement practices and/or vendor relationships in a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in advanced data analytics and procurement practices including intermediate to advanced excel skills, knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in data visualization, statistical analysis, and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of methods used in the access and use of information, the preparation of specifications, and the analysis of bids and contracts. Ability to set standards for and create and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to identify problems, utilize originality and ingenuity to make recommendations and decisions, and implement solutions. Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research problems and present findings with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Solid customer service qualities along with excellent interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Must have the ability to work effectively in a large, multi-level, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive and positive working relationships with all stakeholders and external suppliers. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
  • Proven prioritization, multi-tasking, and coordination skills within a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and high level of initiative.
