Job description

As an Analytics Technical Product Manager you will be a key member of the Analytics organization, the team that delivers insights and decision making tools to drive Aledade strategy and support our various lines of business.
In this role, you will report to an Analytics leader and serve as a force multiplier for our teams. You will work alongside business owners, product team members, data analysts, designers and engineers to define project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans. You will play a significant part in scoping analytics work, managing stakeholders, and delivering high-quality, high-impact analytics products with the ability to scale.
You will support teams of Analytics professionals to help us deliver new analysis and complex data products that power intelligence across our suite of tools. If you're a data-savvy person looking for a product management career within an analytics environment, this is the role for you.
Primary Duties
  1. Partner with business owners and analytics leaders to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective.
  2. Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, and support teams throughout execution. Manage program operations and lead complex, multi-stakeholder project management. Implement governance structures to manage risks and drive decision-making.
  3. Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes. Manage sprints, backlogs, and plans in Jira. Build and maintain other documentation as needed related to work planning. Write, maintain, and promulgate documentation for products.
  4. Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of analytics, product management, or similar technology experience in healthcare organizations, product development, or SaaS platforms.

Preferred KSA's
  • Agile & Product Delivery: Experience participating in Agile/Scrum teams or using Agile methodology/concepts in product development (e.g., managing backlogs, sprints, and standups).
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency with project management and delivery tools such as JIRA to manage enhancement requests and delivery processes.
  • Requirements Definition: Experience writing clear specifications, technical documentation, and user stories that translate business needs into execution plans.
  • User Research & Workflow: Experience evaluating workflows and operational processes, conducting user research, and using data to inform business decision-making.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving, prioritization, and building subject matter expertise.
  • Organizational Influence: Track record of working in cross functional teams, ideally in an Analytics context. Self-starter mindset with an eye for process improvement.
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience in value based care, ideally with subject matter expertise in Medicare ACOs and Medicare Advantage value based care. Knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including demographic, financial and clinical data.
  • Analytics Technical Familiarity: Basic familiarity with analytics methods such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and financial analysis and how they can be applied to business decision making. Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL, Python, R is a plus, but not required for daily execution.
