The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is hiring a Conferral Assistant Registrar I within the Office of The University Registrar. This is a hybrid, or remote position located in Manchester, NH and reports to the Associate Registrar for Conferral. You will contribute to the Conferral Team, which is responsible for the audit and conferral of student programs. You will focus on the maintenance of program evaluation and accurate audit and conferral of our student programs while maintaining the integrity of university policies. You will use available MS Suite tools, university systems, policies and:
  • Provide customer service while serving on the "front lines" of the main Registrar telephone line as a periodic "Go to Person" (G2P) and when working on campus with our students, faculty, and staff.
  • Manage assigned commencement responsibilities.
  • Be a reliable resource for our team members.

In this Role You'll Get To:
  • Identify, correct, and collaborate to reduce/correct data and program inaccuracies to ensure accurate learner records per our analysis deadlines.
  • Use sustained attention to detail to identify process inefficiencies.
  • Conduct daily second audits for students who have submitted a petition to graduate, and record and update remaining program requirements.
  • Apply appropriate Latin Honors.
  • Complete final program audits to ensure program requirements are satisfied.

What we're Looking For:
  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Complete 3 successful years of professional office administration experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively in an administrative setting under time constraints.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $48,301.00 - $77,296.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $53,373.00 - $72,210.00.
