Job Description:
Supports a variety of data analysis, project management, and quality analysis activities to improve the clinical quality, measurement strategy, and operational efficiency. Consults with administrative leaders, physician leaders, and staff to provide direction regarding quality, safety, performance improvement, and regulatory activities.
Principle Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Serves as the subject matter expert for data analytics and quality measurement, guiding teams on best practices and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
    • Convenes and coordinates regular research and measurement stakeholder meetings.
    • Catalogs research and measurement outputs.
    • Provides support for the maintenance of the internal and external research websites and multi-media strategy for dissemination of research and quality analysis results.
    • Coordinates ad hoc scientific or data-related projects.
    • Participates in recurring quality, clinical, and operations meetings.
    • Provides technical and educational support to users of data analytics tools, documentation and processes.
  • Quality Analysis
    • Collaborates in developing appropriate analytic strategies for quality analysis and assists in identifying data issues relevant to interpretation this may include patient chart reviews to validate measure inclusion/exclusion criteria and ensure data accuracy.
    • Serves as a consultant for interpretation of quality analysis and provides recommendations on approaches to measurement.
    • Participates in program evaluation for the business unit.
  • Data Analysis
    • Serves as a knowledgeable resource in key organizational initiatives and applications, ensuring teams maximize the value of these tools (e.g. Vizient, USWNR, Riskonnect, PSO, Epic).
    • Utilizes statistical software to extract and prep data and conduct analysis.
    • Directs and contributes to data abstraction and collection and summarizes and interprets.
    • Conducts literature reviews to identify gaps in available evidence and prepares interpretive summaries.
    • Contributes to development of study design, methods, and data collection approaches as well as grant applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, health informatics, public health, epidemiology, program evaluation, or related healthcare or scientific discipline
  • 2 to 5 years professional or clinical experience
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, familiarity with data collection and electronic health record tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in information technology, health informatics, public health, epidemiology, program evaluation, or related healthcare or scientific discipline
  • Well-developed medical writing skills, experience serving as lead author of peer-reviewed publications

Pay Range
Pay Range: $32.92 to $45.12 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
