We are hiring a Business Systems Analyst Specialist at BCBST!
In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects across diverse areas such as claims, finance, data governance, and other enterprise business priorities. You will partner with leaders across the organization to understand business objectives, facilitate discovery sessions, define project scope, document requirements, identify current-state gaps, and translate business needs into actionable requirements. Working with multiple projects simultaneously, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders, managers, and executives to drive project intake, analysis, approvals, and successful project planning through the project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, in addition to the core job requirements, you'll bring strong analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will be a strong candidate for this role if you have a healthcare industry background, experience eliciting and documenting business requirements, the ability to facilitate effective requirements gathering sessions, and a demonstrated ability to connect business needs with technology solutions. Experience with Azure DevOps, working in technical environments and a general understanding of application and system integrations will help you quickly contribute to a broad range of enterprise initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • 1 year - Leading requirements development efforts required
  • 1 year - Extensive systems analysis, design and project management experience required.
  • 3 years - Experience in Information Technology and systems analysis.
