Position Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Sr. OCI / Oracle Analytics Engineer on behalf of our direct client. This is an urgent requirement for a seasoned technical professional with deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and data integration technologies. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert driving cloud architecture, analytics delivery, and operational excellence.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments including compute, networking, storage, and security configurations.
  • Develop and manage OCI Data Integration (OCI-DI) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.
  • Build, configure, and support Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), OBIEE, BIP, and BICC reporting solutions.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and database objects.
  • Configure and manage SFTP mount points, OCI Object Storage buckets, policies, and IAM permissions.
  • Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and operational workflows.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and debugging of production issues across the OCI stack.
  • Administer and troubleshoot both Windows and Linux operating systems within cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Manage and resolve tickets via MOS (My Oracle Support) and ServiceNow (SNOW); track development tasks in JIRA and document processes in Confluence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally via Slack and Microsoft Teams with project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Strong proficiency in OCI-DI / ODI pipeline development and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with OACS / OBIEE / BIP / BICC configuration and report development.
  • Advanced Oracle DB skills including complex PL/SQL development.
  • Proficiency administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience configuring SFTP mount points, OCI Object Storage, and associated policies.
  • Scripting experience - Python strongly required .
  • Strong debugging and RCA capabilities across multi-tier Oracle environments.
  • Hands-on experience with MOS, SNOW, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, and MS Teams.

Bonus / Qualifications

  • Exposure to Oracle HCM Payroll modules.
  • Familiarity with Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI / Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse).
