• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their individual needs and create effective treatment plans.
• Regularly communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to track client progress and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Establish and provide a clear schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations for ongoing monitoring of client improvement.
• Coordinate in-home visits to conduct observations, perform chart reviews, and engage in interviews that contribute to targeted data analysis.
• Implement and ensure the effectiveness of program plans and treatment protocols.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to contribute to client care strategies and share insights.
• Maintain detailed records including monthly and quarterly progress notes to document client advancements.
• Provide training sessions for colleagues on the effective execution of program protocols and documentation practices, ensuring staff competency.
• Perform follow-up evaluations through home visits and interviews to provide continued support and ensure client needs are being met.
• Facilitate communication between the mental health community and the public to support service development goals.
• Assist in creating and refining training materials aimed at enhancing program delivery and outcomes for clients.

In this role, you will be serving a diverse array of clients, including both adults and youth, who are facing various mental health challenges. The caseload will vary based on your experience and the needs of the clinic. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling is required, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Specialization or experience in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal, ethical standards, and documentation practices within the mental health profession.
• Proficient in interpersonal communication, establishing rapport with diverse clientele, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related tools for efficient record-keeping and patient management.

While two years in a counseling role is the baseline requirement, experience in specialized therapeutic modalities such as family systems, addiction recovery, or trauma-informed care greatly enhances your application. Comfortability with remote counseling technologies and a proven track record of successful client outcomes are also highly desirable.
