In this role, you\'ll shape how your Consultants approach client work, design engagement strategies that balance depth and scalability, and own the client outcomes that matter mostโ€”retention, expansion, and trust. You\'re a decision-maker on your own accounts and a trusted advisor to the Consultants supporting them. This is for someone who wants to grow into leadership without losing touch with the work itself.

Responsibilities
  • Own strategic direction and outcomes for assigned complex or high-value client engagements, including scoping, resourcing decisions, and timeline accountability

  • Design and approve engagement strategies, methodologies, and deliverables before Consultants execute them

  • Lead and mentor Consultants assigned to your accounts or programs, providing coaching on client management, technical judgment, and quality standards

  • Conduct quality assurance on consultant deliverables, assessments, and client communications before they reach external stakeholders

  • Identify gaps in Consultant performance or skill development and work with management to address them

  • Manage escalationsโ€”both client-facing (complex requests, relationship friction, unmet expectations) and internal (resourcing, product limitations, technical blockers)

  • Own executive-level relationships and strategy conversations with key clients; set direction on retention and expansion opportunities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams on behalf of your portfolio; surface product gaps and feature requests grounded in client feedback

  • Develop and present strategic recommendations backed by data and risk analysis that influence how clients manage their vendor programs

  • Contribute to PS playbook development, training materials, and best practices that raise team capability

  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and team capability planning with your manager

Requirements
  • 6โ€“8 years of professional experience in consulting, customer success, or risk/security roles, with demonstrated progression

  • 2+ years of direct or dotted-line experience leading, mentoring, or managing individual contributors or project teams

  • Proven track record of owning client outcomes and retention; ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics

  • Strong project and program management skills; experience scoping, planning, and delivering multi-phase engagements

  • Ability to synthesize technical findings into executive-ready recommendations and presentations

  • Excellent judgment in ambiguous situations; comfort making decisions with incomplete information

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; able to operate at multiple organizational levels

  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities; able to balance hands-on delivery with leadership duties

  • Preferred experience or knowledge in:

    • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program design or maturity modeling

    • Vendor risk assessment methodologies, controls frameworks (SOC 2, ISO, etc.), or supply chain risk

    • Continuous security monitoring, external attack surface management, or threat intelligence in a TPRM context

    • Leading or designing organizational security or risk programs

    • AI-driven tools and their application to security workflows; ability to evaluate emerging tech critically

    • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA  or similar advanced cybersecurity/information risk certification

    • Salesforce and Google Suite
