Job Description

Position: IT Security Technician/Analyst (cybersecurity) 

Duration: 3 - 6 month engagement.

Location: Boston, MA


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Position Summary:  

Supports day-to-day administration of various security technologies. Configures, installs, monitors, and evaluates security systems in support of Information Systems. Responsible for implementing and supporting Security solutions on Networks, Systems, computer-related hardware, and software applications. Proactively assesses and provides solutions for potential security risks, vulnerabilities, and gaps. 


Solid knowledge of information security principles, practices, protocols, and standards. Working experience with intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Experience with security practices of Internet, Encryption, Data Loss Prevention, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam and Secure Communications. Experience with software and security architectures.

3-5 years experience with a 4 years degree preferred.
