Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their travel journey. This role involves responding to inquiries, assisting with travel bookings, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring every client receives professional and timely service.
This is a remote position requiring a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media.
- Assist clients with booking flights, accommodations, vacation packages, tours, cruises, and other travel services.
- Provide accurate travel information and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer records and booking information.
- Follow up with clients before and after travel to ensure satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Stay informed about travel policies, destinations, and supplier updates.
- Meet customer service standards and productivity expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Quiet, professional home office suitable for remote work.
- Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, tourism, or airline industry.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems such as Expedia TAAP, Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar platforms.
- Sales, customer retention, or upselling experience.
- Experience using CRM or customer support software.
