Job description

Job Title: Vice President of Sales — U.S. (Financial Services Outsourcing)
Location: Remote — Anywhere in the U.S.
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity
Our client is an established, fast-growing outsourcing partner to the financial services industry, delivering quality-driven, scalable, technology-enabled services across Accounting & Tax, Valuation, Financial Due Diligence, and Investment Banking Support. The firm serves financial institutions, consulting firms, and investment professionals across the United States, and is now investing in a direct U.S. go-to-market — this role is the cornerstone of that investment.
Position Summary
As the company\'s first U.S. sales leader, the VP of Sales will own the U.S. revenue strategy end to end — opening doors, building pipeline, closing new business, and laying the foundation for the sales organization that follows. This is a founding-seat opportunity for a proven hunter-leader who knows the offshore/global delivery model, sells consultatively at the executive level, and wants a direct hand in shaping company strategy alongside leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute U.S. sales strategy across accounting, tax, valuation, financial due diligence, and investment banking support
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business with small and mid-market clients — full cycle from outreach to signed engagement
  • Build relationships with PE/IB firms, startup incubators, CFOs, CPA firms, fractional CFO practices, and valuation firms
  • Develop channel partnerships for recurring referral revenue
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
  • Partner with marketing/leadership on positioning and growth priorities
  • Own pipeline management, forecasting, and market insight
  • Recruit, mentor, and scale the U.S. sales team as the business grows

Required Qualifications

  • 6–14 years of BD/sales experience in financial services outsourcing
  • Proven success selling offshore/global delivery models
  • Consultative selling track record with sophisticated financial buyers
  • Excellent communication/negotiation skills; credible with CFOs, partners, MDs
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter, comfortable building remote from scratch
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Active network across CPA firms, PE/IB, and knowledge-services buyers
  • Experience as a first/early sales hire — building playbook then team

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base + uncapped, performance-based incentives (OTE discussed in first conversation)
  • Fully remote, U.S.-based, with periodic travel for clients/events
  • Founding-seat influence — direct partnership with executive leadership
  • Backing of an established global delivery platform
