The role also involves managing bookings and reservations, processing payments, and monitoring itinerary changes such as schedule updates or cancellations. The Travel Consultant/Advisor will provide ongoing customer support before, during, and after travel, handle inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, and maintain detailed records in booking and CRM systems. • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, resolve issues, and maintain a professional, empathetic communication style.
  • Comfort using online booking tools, GDS or supplier portals, and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, and CRM or client tracking systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and itineraries.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with travel insurance, travel advisories, and basic regulatory or documentation requirements (passports, visas) is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in travel, hospitality, tourism, or a related customer-facing role is preferred but not strictly required.
