Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience as you engage with clients. The work setting includes outpatient services that cater to diverse patient needs. By leveraging telemedicine capabilities, you will conduct counseling sessions from your home office while remaining connected with the supportive resources and multi-disciplinary teams at our North Richland Hills location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and intakes to establish personalized care plans.
  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions with individuals, families, and groups, employing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring integrated care and comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to track progress and ensure quality care.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and trainings to stay up-to-date with mental health research and emerging practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at High Point Advance Medical PC, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various life challenges. Our focus on family therapy, couples therapy, and substance use treatment enables counselors to provide holistic support to clients ranging from adolescents to adults.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting, preferably within a clinical context, is required.
  • Strong foundation in ethical and legal standards relating to mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits
