Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Generation / Business Development Specialist based in Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional to drive business growth by identifying new prospects and building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. In this role, you will lead outbound prospecting efforts, engage decision-makers, and schedule high-quality meetings that contribute directly to commercial success. Working in a fully remote environment, you will combine relationship-building skills with modern sales tools and AI-powered solutions to enhance productivity and outreach effectiveness. The position offers significant autonomy and is ideal for someone who thrives in a results-oriented setting, enjoys connecting with potential clients, and is passionate about generating measurable business impact.

Accountabilities:

As a Lead Generation / Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving outbound sales initiatives, qualifying opportunities, and maintaining a healthy pipeline while delivering a professional experience to prospective clients.

  • Research and identify prospective clients that align with the target customer profile.
  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and personalized email campaigns.
  • Conduct engaging introductory conversations and presentations with prospective clients.
  • Build rapport with decision-makers, understand business needs, and communicate compelling value propositions.
  • Respond to initial inquiries and professionally handle objections throughout the outreach process.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team through consistent and strategic follow-up.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline by accurately updating prospect information, outreach activities, and follow-up notes.
  • Utilize AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve prospect research, personalize outreach, and increase productivity.
  • Monitor outreach performance and consistently achieve lead generation, appointment-setting, and activity targets.
  • Work independently while taking ownership of daily business development activities and pipeline management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated business development professional with strong communication skills, proven outbound sales experience, and the ability to leverage modern technologies to maximize results.

  • Proven experience in lead generation, business development, appointment setting, or a similar outbound sales role.
  • Strong track record of success with cold calling and personalized cold email campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Confidence presenting solutions and engaging with business decision-makers.
  • Strong prospecting, qualification, follow-up, and objection-handling abilities.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to support sales activities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, lead generation platforms, and email outreach tools is preferred.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, self-driven, and results-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional remote work environment.
  • Availability to work full-time during US Eastern Time business hours.
  • Ability to dedicate full professional commitment to the role without conflicting employment obligations.
